BC at Gorak Shep near lake
C3 50m below col at base of rock.

Used C1 only in start of climb for acclimatization; in push for summit went directly to C2. After pitching C2 went down to BC to rest 5 days. Summit group left BC 27th to C2, reached C3 on 28th and to top on 29th. 3 members had reached summit bid on 24th, got to C1, tried for C2 on 25th, turned back at 5700-5800m because of fog and snowfall and back to BC. Decided all 6 climbing members would make next try together and did. 29th summit party slept that night in C3 and down to BC 30th. Went to summit without roping together and with Dan Mazur from US-UK team.
