BC near lake (4-5 autumn team camps seen)
C1 on SE Ridge
C2 not slept
High point below East Ridge's Col.

Very easy route, but heavy snowfall on 22 Dec afternoon sent party who pitched C2 down to C1 to sleep. Much fixed rope from C1 to C2 from earlier seasons so no need to use 2000m rope this team brought with them. Planned to start summit push from BC on 25th Dec but again heavy snowfall. 26 & 27th Dec up to C2, shovelled out broken tent & brought down gear. Wind no problem. Snow at BC already very deep on 16th Dec & yaks not above Dugla bridge above Pheriche, only porters from there to BC through waist-deep drifts.
