C1 at top of Icefall
C2 in Western Cwm
C3 on Lhotse Face
C4 at South Col.

"There were 2-3 days of no wind but in these days we were not in the right place, maybe we make a mistake not to try before 1st Oct, but we didn't have oxygen at S Col." Weather was very fine in late Sept.

1st night slept at South Col was 11 Oct (La Ferriere, Hubert, Muller, Pacheco and Renard and 4 Sherpas (Sonam Dendu, Nawang Pura/Phura, 2 others)). During night of 11th tent broken by wind and no one went above Col but all descended to C2 and climb finished.
