BC at Barun Glacier, 3 hours walk from junction BC
ABC at Basques's ABC
C1 at normal C2
C2 at Makalu La
C3 at normal C4.
Left for summit at 0:30 hrs on 18th May, 3 members together and got to top at 6:30 am little windy but it died on summit ridge, no clouds and down to last camp 11:30 am, rested down Makalu La camp (Hall last, oxygen finished on return to highest camp).
Hall and others saw 4 Japanese on 18th while they were descending to Makalu La camp and Japanese were putting up a tent at 7350m and moved.
