BC at 50m from crowded normal site
ABC at glacier, below South Ridge, on its east side
C1 at junction of South and SE Ridge
C2 at South Ridge - bived in on 19th Oct.
Australians got up 6700m on 19th Oct and decided ridge wouldn't go and went down to biv at 6450m. Next summit party of 3 men. Aussies decided to make their own try. Morton turned back on 20th not feeling well, thus enabling Findlay and Barnes to make camp at site too small for 3-man camp. Summiters left low C2 at 4 am and were on summit at 12:00 and 12:15 noon. Used Japanese ropes and put in 100m of ropes above theirs. Series of sharp arretes just below summit.
