According to other teams on the same route at the same time, this team was the last one left when all other left BC to return home. Imoto of another Japanese expedition (from Nishon University) said this team were to make a summit bid on 13th Oct, but others who left BC later said they had not yet done so. On 28th Dec (after trip to Japan) Imoto said expedition sent members to C3 three times but none could move above C3 because of winds.
