BC at Barun Glacier opposite mouth of Chago Glacier
ABC at glacier running east from east side of Baruntse
C1 in snow at base of rock face, northeast of Pt 6730m on Schneider map
High point on edge of rockwall.

25 Oct tried to make route above C2 but snow and ice conditions not good: ice was hard and brittle and snow unconsolidated deep sugar snow on steep terrain and avalanche danger. So climb finished and did not reach ridge. Too tired to try approach from west (approach march more arduous than expected). Porters refused to go past low site for BC. ABC site should have been BC, or perhaps make it at 5500m.
