Plan was to do first ascent of Jarkya via the Hindu Glacier and South Ridge. No Sherpa support above BC.

Takenaka: “Reasons for cancelling the climb were that it was too early in the season, resulting in heavy snowfall, which made route finding and breaking trail time-consuming, leading to accumulated fatigue, and also because some members were unwell due to altitude sickness.”
