Report from Norrdine Nouar:

Approach: Pangboche

C1 -- 5800m
C2 29/04 6440m
C3 21/05 7300m
C4 22/05 7700m (LHOT)
C4 23/05 7900m (EVER)
HPt 23/05 at 8150m below the Balcony by Nouar.

After Nouar ascended to C2 he stayed there for three weeks and did not go back to BC during that time. He was intending to climb without O2 and thought it was a good idea. He had a cold which weakened him.

On his summit push, he left C4 at 10 pm on 23/05. After about one hour he realised that he was too tired and sick to continue and he is sure that had he carried on, he would not have come back. Weather was perfect. No winds, full moon, about 15 people on the route. He descended to C4 where he arrived at about 11:45 pm. On 24/05 he descended to C2 and on 25/05 to BC. Left BC on 27/05.

Oxygen: Not taken, not used.
