Himlung Himal Expedition 2021:

Our team around expedition leader Niklaus Stalder is on the way back to Kathmandu. Everyone is healthy and sound. Unfortunately, it didn't work out with the summit of the Himalang Himal (712 m) due to the conditions. Lots of fresh snow, low temperatures and wind: these are not optimal conditions for climbing a 7000er.

Every mountaineer knows that "turning around" is often the most difficult decision and that there is no guarantee of the summit. The path is the goal. We congratulate our team on the way to ca. 6700m. For one guest or the other, this was certainly the highest point in life. We hope that everyone will remember the spectacular trekking expedition.
