Team abandoned expedition due to covid outbreak amoungst various members of the expedition teams at base camp.

Lots of snow, but general conditions were good.


Report from Vibeke Sefland:

A lot of snow, snowstorm slowed us down, many avalanches in route, ropes snowed down after each rotation, deap snow, tents burried, some lost/had damaged equipment due to snowstorm.

Unfortunately the Sherpas (90% of them) didnt want to put in the effort. They were affraid of covid and moral was low. We also don't know how avalanche hazard was above C3.
