High point team left C3 for summit attempt at 3.30pm on 22/05. They were stuck at the fixed ropes as too many people were on the fixed ropes coming down. At one point they noticed that it would take too long to get up due to the amount of people. They say their reason for abandoning the climb was bad planning. They turned back at around 7 pm to C3 to spend the night.

On 23/05 they descended to C2 and 24/05 BC and left BC by trekking.

Oxygen: Not taken, not used

The other members were on the Lhotse permit for alpine-training purposes only and only intended to go to C3.
