Richards and Mena acclimatized on the normal route for three rotations. Tagged 7k twice, spent two nights at the North Col and tagged 7600m once. First tag of 7k happened on our intended new route. We spent a night at 7300m on an open bivy on our final attempt. No GPS coordinates were taken.
The intended route ascends the central couloir to the base of the second Pinnacle. Conditions were not the problem but proved hard. Not major objective hazard.
