The first two attempts failed because of difficult conditions or because they were too late in the day.

Summit on third summit attempt. Both started from C3 at 3:30 am. Joseba turned around at 6400m at around 6 am because he was cold at his hands and conditions were very difficult for him. He went down to C1 where he waited for Tasio.

Tasio continued alone, it was difficult and dangerous at times. He didn’t use fixed rope on the way up, only on the descent. Tasio summited at 10 am. Stayed on the summit for 30 minutes, weather was good, just a bit windy. Snow conditions not so good. Both members back to BC at 10 pm. Left BC on 10/05.
