C4 26/09
Smt 27/09 by Ferier, Darce at 12:30 pm (both no oxygen) with Suman Gurung,
Anup Gurung and Prakash Gurung
Smt 28/09 by Marinos at 5 am with Tamding Sherpa, Sykaris at 6 am, Zeng with
Sonam Jangbu at 6 am, Liu Sen with Pemba Chhoti at 6 am, Constable and
Keane at 8 am with Furtemba Sherpa and Thundu Sherpa, Ms Hao Qiannan
(no oxygen) with Mingma Gyalje at 8:30 am.

Benjamin made summit on 27th September at around 12:30 pm and skied down. Departure from C4 at 5 am in the morning.

Ferier and Darce left C3 on 26/09 at around 9 pm for summit push with Suman Gurung, Anup Gurung and Prakash Gurung.

Christopher Kussmaul returned back from C4 on 26th September after he countered altitude sickness. Kussmaul and Darce were partners. They planned to summit on 26/09, but couldn't go because Kussmaul got sick reaching C4 and Darce stayed rest at C4. They tried summit from C3 on 25th night. Both were skiers on Manaslu. Highest elevation for Kussmaul was about 7300m.

All 28th September summit team departed from C4 at 12:30 am.

10 climbing Sherpas all together. Santa Bahadur Gurung went up to C2 at 6300m, remaining all made summit.

Benjamin, Simon and Ms Hao made summit without oxygen. Mingma also made summit without oxygen but used oxygen from around 7600m while descending back because he took one bottle of oxygen for Ms Hao in case of emergency or if she couldn't walk faster. She made the summit successfully and oxygen was not needed for her so he used that one on the way back because he was just carrying and it was only weigh in my bag. So his climb will be included in oxygen used. Anup Gurung who made without oxygen with Ferier on 27th September. Beside this all other members and Sherpas used oxygen.

Everyone reached back to base camp on 28th September safely. 27th summit team got back to C3 on 27th and back to base camp on 28th Sept.

Oxygen: Taken and used (apart from Anap Gurung, Darce, Ferier and Quiannan) from C3 to top to C3.

Notes for Darce and Kussmaul:

Darce left C4 at 6 am and reached the summit at 1 pm. He made a ski descent from just below the summit to C4 and again most of the route from below the ice cliff of C4 to C3. He got to C4 at 3 pm and reached C3 around 8 pm, where he spent the night. He had the summit to himself as he was one day ahead of the crowds. The weather was sunny and warm, no wind.

Kussmaul developed HAPE at about 7600m on Sep 27 and had to abandon the climb. He skied down to Samagaon, ate food and slept a lot. The expedition was over for him.

No oxygen, no Sherpa support above BC.

Both members met again at BC and trekked out together via Arughat.
