Seven Summit Treks Dhaulagiri expedition was a combination of several independent teams (1-2 climbers each). Seven Summits provided transportation, base camp facilities and various levels of high altitude support (oxygen, high-altitude porters, tents, etc) as required and contracted for by each team. The individual accounts for each team are given below:

Term: Abandoned on 29/09 due to bad conditions on mountain and lack of Sherpa
motivation to fix rope above C2.

Team climbed up to 6800m with rope-fixing Sherpas, but Sherpas decided that route was too dangerous and abandoned their work. The two Poles spent another night in C1 and decided to go home as they had no faith in the Sherpas completing the route.

Kowalewski was on Dhaulagiri in spring 2018 and witnessed Simone Laterra being blown away in his tent by the wind. They fixed a plaque for Laterra on top of the French Pass on 18/09.

Dawa Gyalgen Sherpa died on 19 Nov from avalanche while a groug of seven Sherpas were fixing rope from C2 to C3.
